I guess I’ve spent too many years coding websites and having complete control over my sites. I really can’t cope with the limitations of having a hosted blog for long. I want to be able to customize or write my own theme instead of choosing from the ones available here. I want access to the css files. Etc. I may never use it but I want to have the option.
That being the case, I think it’s best to move to my own domain now while there isn’t much to move. I went to see what domains are available just a few minutes ago. It seems both antimother.com and anti-mother.com are available for purchase. I can’t decide which one to buy.
For the record, slackermom.com is taken.

These are all things with which I’m unfamiliar. I’m just here. I made up a name for my page. I’m over there. I don’t need a name over there. Too much trying-to-figure-out-of-things leaves this old brain feeling muddled.

Mine is pretty unimaginative. Can we change them? If so, I’ll start thinking.

I opened up a can of worms here that I really don’t have time for. In looking for web hosting for this blog I got to thinking about the possibility of moving my cat site which has been where it’s been for eight years now.

You might talk to Stevo. There are several of “us” sharing his bandwidth already. Or, you can just do it yourself.

Always without dashes and underscores. It’s easier to remember, AND to tell people verbally.
Just something I learned somewhere on the net years ago that has proven itself uber-valuable over time.
